Andy Struckhoff

President

Andy is passionate about the fact that planning must be done with intention and empathy and must be followed by action. Whether in the course of a plan a community arrives at a need for programs, a set of new policies, or physical development, the plan must include clear roles and responsibilities for stakeholders to undertake in order to ensure that those needs are met.

Andy has worked with more than 100 communities across the country to help community stakeholders formulate their vision, identify their needs, and develop actionable steps for implementation.  He has helped communities develop new community organizations, new policies for economic development, and has helped his clients achieve more than $3 billion in real estate development over the course of his career.

Favorite city to visit

Barcelona. My wife and I visited before I went to school to become a planner. I found the City’s walkability, design, the management of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and the overall disposition of the built form to be very inspiring.
